About Me

Hey! I'm Will Hughes.

I started my career in investment banking at William Blair, where I worked on M&A transactions for sponsor-backed software companies. From there, I moved to Marlin Equity Partners, spending three years in growth equity and buyouts—executing deals and working hands-on with portfolio companies on financial operations and value creation.

Now I bring that same rigor to startups and investors as a fractional finance partner. I work with Series A and B companies to build the financial infrastructure they need to scale, and support growth investors with diligence and deal execution.

I'm based in Salt Lake City. When I'm not working with founders, I'm usually climbing, skiing, or planning my next trip to the mountains.
